Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years office experience preferred
  • Minimum 2 years sales and customer service experience preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and compliance

Job Duties

  • Perform general office and administrative duties assisting the Hearing Care Professional with the patient process
  • Successfully utilize the scheduling system to maximize test opportunities for the office
  • Actively call current, past and potential patients through identified sources
  • Track and report appointment results
  • Develop and assist the Hearing Care Professional in local marketing and sales activities, including sourcing new avenues for building community relationships and referrals
  • Answer incoming phone calls and messages professionally and follow up with patients
  • Process and document clinic forms accurately to ensure HIPAA and State law compliance
  • Verify patient eligibility and submit insurance claims
  • Manage the claims process until funded
  • Reconcile cash balance and manage account receivables and payables
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming office and work environment
