Job Requirements

  • Prior experience in medical clerical work preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare the clinic for opening daily by reviewing the facility and systems
  • Greet patients and provide initial paperwork
  • Obtain and verify insurance and identification cards
  • Register patients and update medical records accurately
  • Collect and process patient payments addressing billing issues
  • Maintain patient flow and provide excellent customer service
  • Assist patients with follow-up appointments and medical documentation requests
  • Balance daily patient charges against system reports
  • Complete closing procedures and secure financial assets
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation
