Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum 1 year work experience in healthcare or strong customer service background
- ability to multitask effectively
- excellent communication skills
- attention to detail
- proficiency in MS Office applications
- positive attitude and team collaboration skills
- ability to manage routine administrative duties
- willingness to undergo tuberculosis screening
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year or more of experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
- strong customer service background in retail, hospitality, or call centers considered
- passion for contributing to improving patient experiences and care
- excellent customer service and phone etiquette
- team player with a positive attitude
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- attention to detail and highly organized
- knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
- experience with value-based care model preferred
- knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- experience with EMR systems preferred
- bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Job Duties
- Receive and correctly route incoming and outgoing telephone calls
- accommodate visitors promptly, courteously, and accurately
- operate a switchboard or multi-line phone and maintain long distance call logs
- take and distribute accurate messages
- greet visitors, determine the nature of their visit, issue visitor passes, and maintain visitor logs
- alert appropriate parties of visitor arrival or direct visitors to appropriate office, department or employee
- respond to routine inquiries from internal or external sources
- book meeting rooms
- type, organize and distribute mail
- receive and send courier packages
