Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 16 years of age
  • demonstrated ability to provide high level of customer service
  • ability to work professionally and confidentially with physicians, clinic staff, and patients
  • demonstrated analytical, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • demonstrated flexibility and dedication to a team environment
  • effective communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent preferred
  • one year post-secondary education in business, medical assistant, or nursing assistant program preferred
  • experience in customer service or medical scheduling
  • knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • experience with Microsoft Office Word and Excel preferred
  • effective communication skills

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome patients and visitors in person and via telephone
  • answer incoming calls professionally
  • check in and check out patients per established protocols
  • schedule patient appointments efficiently
  • register patients accurately
  • coordinate with physicians, nurses, and clinic staff
  • maintain patient confidentiality and data accuracy
