Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience especially in healthcare or customer service
- Passion for improving patient experiences and care
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong phone etiquette
- Positive team-oriented attitude
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Willingness to undergo TB screening as this is a patient-facing role
- Ability to work full time (40 hours per week)
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year or more of experience working in a healthcare setting preferred but candidates with strong customer service background considered
- Excellent customer service and phone etiquette
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and highly organized
- Knowledge of MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Access
- Value-based care model experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Experience with EMR systems preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Job Duties
- Receive and route incoming and outgoing telephone calls
- Accommodate visitors promptly and courteously
- Operate switchboard or multi-line phone system
- Maintain long distance call logs
- Take and distribute accurate messages
- Greet visitors and determine the nature of their visit
- Issue visitor passes and maintain visitor logs
- Alert appropriate parties of visitor arrival
- Respond to routine inquiries about the organization
- Book meeting rooms
- Organize and distribute mail
- Receive and send courier packages
- Perform basic administrative and clerical tasks
