Job Requirements
- Must be able to work 12-hour shifts on consecutive or non-consecutive days
- Must work at least three 12-hour shifts per week for full-time positions
- Must work two 12-hour shifts per week for part-time positions
- Must work four 12-hour shifts per month for per diem positions
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to travel within one hour to other ConvenientMD locations for work or training
- High school diploma or GED
- Must maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
Job Duties
- Welcome and greet patients with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Register patients efficiently ensuring completion of all required forms
- Handle insurance and billing inquiries providing clear information
- Assist ill or distraught patients with available resources
- Collect payments including insurance co-pays and prescription charges
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure seamless patient flow
- Manage patient reservations and scheduling including specialist referrals
- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and timely manner
- Keep the reception area organized and maintain administrative duties
- Navigate and utilize software systems for scheduling and electronic medical records
