Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills
  • Experience in a customer service role
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn Electronic Health Record system
  • Professional and warm demeanor

Job Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience required
  • One year previous medical office experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multitask

Job Duties

  • Greeting every patient with a smile
  • Completing and updating patients' insurance information accurately and efficiently
  • Utilizing the Electronic Health Record system to complete registration and facilitate visits
  • Completing the check out process by scheduling appointments and providing referral information
  • Verifying insurance eligibility to ensure timely billing
  • Collecting co-pays and deductibles according to billing policies
  • Answering appointment calls and managing email appointment requests
  • Scheduling appointments for multiple office sites and diagnostic departments
  • Maintaining a strong commitment to providing exceptional service
