Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior experience in customer service or medical office setting preferred
  • Basic computer skills including MS Office
  • Ability to operate multi-line phone systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle routine inquiries and maintain visitor logs
  • Capacity to work under close supervision and follow established policies
  • Monday to Friday availability from 8 AM to 5 PM

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Prior experience in a medical office setting preferred
  • Experience in front desk operations at a medical office preferred
  • Knowledge of MS Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access
  • Excellent customer service and phone etiquette
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required
  • Passionate about improving consumer experiences

Job Duties

  • Receive and route incoming and outgoing telephone calls
  • Greet visitors and determine nature of their visit
  • Issue visitor passes and maintain visitor logs
  • Schedule appointments and verify insurance
  • Collect patient charges
  • Maintain long distance call logs and distribute accurate messages
  • Perform miscellaneous administrative tasks such as booking meeting rooms and organizing mail
