Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 1 year administrative or customer service experience, preferably in a medical setting
- must have reliable transportation to clinics that may not be accessible by public transportation
- must be able to travel to CVR Avon and Greenwood Clinics

- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to use electronic health record systems such as NextGen
- knowledge of HIPAA and medical office procedures
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- reliable transportation to clinics
Job Duties
- greet patients in a friendly and professional manner and check in/out
- ensure that all policies and procedures are distributed, understood, and implemented by assigned center staff
- ensure compliance that patient charts are up to date, HIPAA compliant, and proper input of demographics, procedures, payments into NextGen
- review scheduling and financial responsibilities and referrals with each patient
- send precertification forms daily to Precertification Department
- ensure daily close tasks are completed including fee tickets, billing tasks, and operative notes
- review future schedules to confirm patient preauthorization
- obtain all new patient forms and update in NextGen/EHR
- collect necessary paperwork for patient appointments such as authorizations and referrals
- collect copays and patient balances at time of service
- schedule and confirm appointments and collect email addresses from patients
