- Minimum 1 year of medical office, healthcare, or customer service experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes preferred
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
- Greet patients, visitors, and vendors in a professional and welcoming manner
- Register patients by verifying demographic, insurance, and contact information
- Collect co-pays, outstanding balances, and provide receipts
- Schedule, confirm, and update patient appointments in the electronic health record (EHR) system
- Obtain and verify insurance authorizations, referrals, and eligibility as required
- Answer multi-line phones, direct calls, and relay messages promptly
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
- Prepare, organize, and update patient charts and documentation
- Support office operations including filing, scanning, faxing, and correspondence
- Communicate effectively with clinical staff, billing, and management to support patient care
- Assist with resolving patient inquiries regarding registration, billing, and scheduling
