Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of medical office procedures
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and medical records
  • Knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and basic arithmetic
  • Skill in operating computer, fax machine, multi-line telephone system, and copier
  • Ability to speak clearly and concisely
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • High school diploma
  • Two years experience in a medical office setting
  • Additional education may substitute for experience

Job Duties

  • Perform administrative duties for physicians and clinical team
  • Travel with assigned physician between locations as needed
  • Cover patient navigator duties during PTO periods at various locations
  • Manage patient records and medical office procedures
  • Operate computer, fax machine, multi-line phone system, and copy machine
  • Communicate clearly and concisely with patients, peers, and staff
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clinical staff and patients
