  • willingness to learn and adapt to additional job duties

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in customer service or healthcare settings preferred
  • knowledge of insurance carriers including Medicare, commercial, and HMO plans advantageous
  • familiarity with electronic medical records software such as eClinicalWorks or EMA is a plus
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
  • detail-oriented with a patient-centered mindset

Job Duties

  • Warmly welcoming patients
  • assisting with check-in and check-out procedures
  • verifying patients' insurance coverage and eligibility
  • handling phone inquiries
  • maintaining patient records
  • managing appointment schedules including auditing, confirming attendance, and collecting insurance and intake information
  • contacting patients to fill schedule openings
  • providing product education and selling skincare products
  • multitasking and managing assigned duties to ensure timely completion
  • delivering exceptional patient service with a compassionate approach
