Job Requirements
- Must be able to work 12-hour shifts in consecutive or non-consecutive days
- For full-time, ability to work three 12-hour shifts per week with at least four shifts on weekends per month
- For part-time, ability to work two 12-hour shifts per week with at least two shifts on weekends per month
- For per diem, ability to work four 12-hour shifts per month ideally one shift per week
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to travel to at least three ConvenientMD locations within a one-hour travel distance from the primary clinic
- Required to travel for training shifts up to one hour from the primary clinic
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Proactive and confident communicator both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Compassionate and patient focused with strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Effective communicator and cross collaborator with team members and stakeholders
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle patient information according to HIPAA regulations
Job Duties
- Greet patients and visitors with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Complete patient registration and update new and existing patient records
- Collect payments, insurance co-pays, and prescription charges following clinic financial policies
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient clinic operations
- Manage patient reservations and scheduling including specialist referrals
- Answer and direct phone calls promptly and professionally
- Perform various administrative duties such as photocopying, filing, and maintaining daily activity logs
