Job Requirements

  • Must be able to work 12-hour shifts in consecutive or non-consecutive days
  • For full-time, ability to work three 12-hour shifts per week with at least four shifts on weekends per month
  • For part-time, ability to work two 12-hour shifts per week with at least two shifts on weekends per month
  • For per diem, ability to work four 12-hour shifts per month ideally one shift per week
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to travel to at least three ConvenientMD locations within a one-hour travel distance from the primary clinic
  • Required to travel for training shifts up to one hour from the primary clinic

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proactive and confident communicator both written and verbal
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Compassionate and patient focused with strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Effective communicator and cross collaborator with team members and stakeholders
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle patient information according to HIPAA regulations

Job Duties

  • Greet patients and visitors with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Complete patient registration and update new and existing patient records
  • Collect payments, insurance co-pays, and prescription charges following clinic financial policies
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient clinic operations
  • Manage patient reservations and scheduling including specialist referrals
  • Answer and direct phone calls promptly and professionally
  • Perform various administrative duties such as photocopying, filing, and maintaining daily activity logs
