Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Prior experience in medical office setting
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Experience with multi-line phone systems
  • Strong customer service and telephone etiquette skills
  • Ability to multitask and handle routine inquiries
  • Bilingual English and Spanish preferred
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Passionate about contributing to patient-centered care

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Prior experience in a medical office setting preferred
  • Experience working front desk at a medical office preferred
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
  • Experience with eClinicalWorks preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bilingual English and Spanish preferred but not required
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Passionate about improving consumer experiences

Job Duties

  • Receive and route incoming and outgoing telephone calls accurately
  • Accommodate visitors promptly and courteously
  • Operate switchboard or multi-line phone systems
  • Maintain long distance call logs and distribute messages
  • Greet visitors, issue visitor passes, and maintain visitor logs
  • Respond to routine inquiries such as office location, hours, and contact information
  • Manage basic administrative tasks including booking meeting rooms, typing, organizing mail, and handling courier packages
  • Assist with appointment scheduling and insurance verification
  • Collect patient charges and provide excellent customer service and phone etiquette
