Job Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • at least one year experience as a medical receptionist or general office work
  • bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • must submit to and pass a drug test
  • must pass criminal background clearance
  • must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster
  • must provide proof of MMR, TDAP, and Hepatitis B vaccinations
  • must provide recent TB test
  • BLS/CPR certification required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent achievement
  • at least one year experience as a medical receptionist or general office work
  • bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • mature judgement, tact, discretion, and confidentiality
  • professional and pleasant representation of the corporation

Job Duties

  • Greet patients in the front office
  • determine nature of visit and schedule appointments
  • make reminder calls to patients via telephone
  • receive payments and complete daily cash flow sheets
  • conduct eligibility interviews to determine method of payment
  • make copies of Medi-Cal stickers, medical records, and other correspondence
  • receive, screen, and direct telephone calls and messages
  • type routine correspondence and patient files
  • perform other tasks as assigned by the program manager
