Job Requirements

  • knowledge of medical office procedures
  • knowledge of medical terminology and medical records
  • knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and basic arithmetic
  • skill in operating computer, fax machine, multi-line telephone system, and copy machine
  • ability to speak clearly and concisely
  • ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, peers, and clinical staff
  • high school diploma
  • two years medical office experience
  • excellent computer and communication skills
  • additional education may substitute for experience

Job Duties

  • perform administrative duties for physicians and clinical team
  • travel with assigned physician between offices when required
  • stay at one location if physician does not travel
  • cover PTO for other patient navigators in float position
  • manage patient scheduling and records
  • communicate effectively with patients and staff
  • assist patients through their healthcare journey
