Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in medical office environment preferred
- Ability to use electronic medical record systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to travel to satellite locations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in medical office administration preferred
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and billing systems
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
- Knowledge of insurance processes and patient registration
- Basic computer skills including data entry and electronic correspondence
Job Duties
- Complete check-in and registration process accurately entering patient information
- Confirm insurance benefit eligibility and collect copayments
- Prepare electronic encounters in EPM and EHR
- Enroll patients in Patient Portal and educate them on usage benefits
- Manage check-out process including scheduling next appointments and patient education
- Scan and file patient documents daily
- Answer calls and manage correspondence
- Assist in scheduling and rescheduling appointments
- Forward insurance precertification requests
- Maintain reception area and office supplies
- Travel to satellite locations as required
