Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to provide outstanding customer service
  • Experience with Electronic Health Record systems preferred
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal communication
  • Commitment to professional and warm patient interactions

Job Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience required
  • One year previous medical office experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written
  • Must be detail oriented and have the ability to multitask

Job Duties

  • Greeting every patient with a smile
  • Completing and updating patients' insurance information with accuracy and efficiency
  • Utilizing the Electronic Health Record system to complete the registration process and facilitate patients' visits
  • Completing the check-out process by assisting patients with scheduling future appointments and providing referral information
  • Verifying insurance eligibility to ensure timely billing
  • Collecting co-pays and deductibles as directed by billing policies
  • Answering the appointment line and checking the email appointment request system
  • Scheduling appointments for patients at office sites and diagnostic departments
  • Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring each patient's encounter is professional, warm, and caring
