Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in medical records management or supply inventory
- knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- strong organizational skills
- computer proficiency
- ability to lift up to 40 lbs
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- experience in medical records management and/or supply inventory preferred
- basic knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare documentation standards
- strong organizational and time management skills
- proficiency with computers, filing systems, and basic inventory software
- ability to lift and move supply boxes (up to 40 lbs)
Job Duties
- Receiving and routing incoming phone calls
- receiving and welcoming visitors
- receiving and receipting resident and family member payments
- receiving and routing invoices for the AP department
- maintain, organize, and file resident medical records in accordance with facility policies and HIPAA regulations
- assist with the preparation, scanning, and archiving of medical documents
- ensure records are up-to-date, accurate, and readily accessible for authorized personnel
- respond to requests for medical records in a timely and confidential manner
- support audits and compliance reviews by preparing necessary documentation
