Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in medical records management or supply inventory
  • knowledge of HIPAA regulations
  • strong organizational skills
  • computer proficiency
  • ability to lift up to 40 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • experience in medical records management and/or supply inventory preferred
  • basic knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare documentation standards
  • strong organizational and time management skills
  • proficiency with computers, filing systems, and basic inventory software
  • ability to lift and move supply boxes (up to 40 lbs)

Job Duties

  • Receiving and routing incoming phone calls
  • receiving and welcoming visitors
  • receiving and receipting resident and family member payments
  • receiving and routing invoices for the AP department
  • maintain, organize, and file resident medical records in accordance with facility policies and HIPAA regulations
  • assist with the preparation, scanning, and archiving of medical documents
  • ensure records are up-to-date, accurate, and readily accessible for authorized personnel
  • respond to requests for medical records in a timely and confidential manner
  • support audits and compliance reviews by preparing necessary documentation
