Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work 8 hour shifts between 7:30 am - 6:00 pm Monday - Friday
- Minimum 1 year commitment to position
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service orientation
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Willingness to work part-time with option for full-time
- Commitment to HIPAA compliance
- Reliable and proactive work ethic
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations
- Basic knowledge of medical office procedures preferred
- Proficient with phone systems and online chat platforms
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
- Spanish speaking preferred but not required
- Previous experience in medical reception or healthcare setting preferred
Job Duties
- Work 8 hour shifts between 7:30 am - 6:00 pm Monday - Friday
- Contribute to a positive working environment
- Maintain high quality and volume of answered phone calls and online chat messages
- Welcome visitors in person, on phone, and through online chat
- Schedule appointments for multiple providers and locations
- Understand billing policies and collect payments
- Update and maintain patient registration records including insurance
- Manage multiple provider schedules between three offices
- Direct visitors to appropriate departments
- Monitor and maintain office equipment
- Maintain appearance of front reception area
- Ensure HIPAA compliance
- Prepare correspondence and documents
- Provide general clerical and administrative support
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Contribute to team effort and optimum daily productivity
