Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- at least three years of recent experience in healthcare administrative support
- up to date 2 Step TB test (PPD) with one test within the last 2 years and another within 90 days
- proof of immunization or titer records for MMR and Varicella
- current flu shot
- recent yearly physical
- demonstrated proficiency with EPIC software
- strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Job Qualifications
- At least three years of recent experience providing administrative support in a healthcare clinic
- positive attitude and professional demeanor
- excellent customer service skills
- experience with front office tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and patient follow-ups
- capable of working both independently and as part of a team
- experience with EPIC electronic health record system
- strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Job Duties
- Provide front-line patient facing support at the health center
- greet patients and check them in/out
- answer and route calls including handling new injury intakes and booking needs
- sort incoming faxes and daily mail for reporters, case coordinators, and physicians
- schedule and manage appointments in EPIC
- collect copays for occupational health services and Platelet Rich Plasma venture
- process all workers' compensation forms and consents
- intake walk-in workers' compensation injuries
- manage E-Consult new injury booking requests
- manage two email inboxes for external workers' compensation and occupational health referrals
- manage company's in basket folders including AACCs KPATH, CC Charts, staff messages, and online messages
- process TEAMS booking requests from case coordinators, physical therapists, occupational therapists, acupuncturists, and reporters
- process provider cancellations
