Job Requirements
- Six months related experience
- Accurate computer and keyboarding skills required
- Knowledge of age-related growth and development principles
- Proficient with telephone, headset, PC, printer, photocopier, and fax machine
- Ability to work Mondays through Fridays from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with Tuesdays off
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Ability to handle multiple phone calls and front desk tasks
- Ability to sit and key for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- Six months related experience
- Accurate computer and keyboarding skills
- Knowledge of age-related growth and development principles
- Proficient with telephone, headset, PC, printer, photocopier, and fax machine
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service and human relations sensitivity
- Medical terminology knowledge preferred
- Ability to maintain good patient relations and confidentiality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, structured environment
- Ability to sit and key for long periods
Job Duties
- Greet patients and visitors courteously
- Collect co-pays and manage payment processes
- Schedule follow-up appointments and referrals accurately
- Provide clerical and administrative support to the Pulmonary department
- Maintain patient confidentiality and protect patient rights
- Handle incoming calls adhering to call center protocols
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area
