Job Requirements

  • Six months related experience
  • Accurate computer and keyboarding skills required
  • Knowledge of age-related growth and development principles
  • Proficient with telephone, headset, PC, printer, photocopier, and fax machine
  • Ability to work Mondays through Fridays from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with Tuesdays off
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
  • Ability to handle multiple phone calls and front desk tasks
  • Ability to sit and key for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • Six months related experience
  • Accurate computer and keyboarding skills
  • Knowledge of age-related growth and development principles
  • Proficient with telephone, headset, PC, printer, photocopier, and fax machine
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer service and human relations sensitivity
  • Medical terminology knowledge preferred
  • Ability to maintain good patient relations and confidentiality
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, structured environment
  • Ability to sit and key for long periods

Job Duties

  • Greet patients and visitors courteously
  • Collect co-pays and manage payment processes
  • Schedule follow-up appointments and referrals accurately
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to the Pulmonary department
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and protect patient rights
  • Handle incoming calls adhering to call center protocols
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area
