Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One year or more experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving patient experiences and care
- Excellent customer service and phone etiquette
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and highly organized
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
- This role is patient-facing and requires TB screening
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One year or more experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
- Strong customer service background in retail, hospitality, or call centers considered
- Excellent customer service and phone etiquette
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and highly organized
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Experience with value-based care model preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Experience with EMR systems preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Job Duties
- Receive and correctly route incoming and outgoing telephone calls
- Accommodate visitors promptly, courteously, and accurately
- Operate a switchboard or multi-line phone and maintain long distance call logs
- Take and distribute accurate messages
- Greet visitors, determine the nature of their visit, issue visitor passes and maintain visitor logs
- Alert appropriate party of visitor arrival or direct visitors to appropriate office, department or employee
- Respond to routine inquiries about organization location, hours of operation, phone numbers, and email address
- Perform miscellaneous administrative activities such as booking meeting rooms, typing, organizing and distributing mail, receiving and sending courier packages
