Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a medical receptionist or administrative role
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of insurance and billing processes
  • Strong computer skills with experience in EHR systems
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information

  • Previous experience in medical office administration or receptionist role
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EHR) systems
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Job Duties

  • Provide support with daily front desk activities including check-in and check-out
  • Manage insurance benefit eligibility verification and copayment collections
  • Prepare electronic encounters for billing and clinical use
  • Enroll and educate patients on the Patient Portal
  • Maintain daily schedule and patient documents
  • Handle phone calls, messages, and mail
  • Coordinate patient referrals and precertification requests
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area
  • Order and manage office supplies
  • Reschedule appointments and assist with internal scheduling conflicts
