Job Duties
- Provide support with daily front desk activities including check-in and check-out
- Manage insurance benefit eligibility verification and copayment collections
- Prepare electronic encounters for billing and clinical use
- Enroll and educate patients on the Patient Portal
- Maintain daily schedule and patient documents
- Handle phone calls, messages, and mail
- Coordinate patient referrals and precertification requests
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area
- Order and manage office supplies
- Reschedule appointments and assist with internal scheduling conflicts
