Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • experience in healthcare or customer service
  • passion for improving patient experiences
  • excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
  • ability to multitask
  • strong organizational skills
  • proficiency in MS Office
  • ability to work variable hours based on clinic needs
  • participate in tuberculosis screening program

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED
  • 1 year or more experience in a healthcare setting preferred or strong customer service background in retail, hospitality or call centers
  • excellent customer service and phone etiquette
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • team player with positive attitude
  • attention to detail and highly organized
  • knowledge of MS Office applications
  • value-based care experience preferred
  • knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • experience with EMR systems preferred
  • bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet patients and visitors in person and over the phone
  • schedule patient appointments and coordinate with medical staff
  • maintain accurate patient records using EMR and CRM systems
  • manage billing and collect copayments at visit
  • answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries
  • maintain a clean and well-stocked reception area
  • perform administrative tasks such as ordering supplies and managing office inventory
