Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of one year experience in healthcare or strong customer service background
  • Passion for contributing to patient-centered care
  • Excellent communication and phone etiquette skills
  • Positive team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One year or more of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Strong customer service background in retail, hospitality, or call centers considered
  • Passionate about improving patient experiences
  • Excellent customer service and phone etiquette
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and highly organized
  • Knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access
  • Value-based care model experience preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • Experience with EMR systems preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet patients and visitors both in person and over the phone
  • Schedule appointments and manage appointment calendars
  • Maintain patient records accurately using EMR and CRM systems
  • Handle billing and payments including collecting copayments
  • Respond to patient inquiries and provide general information
  • Ensure the reception area is tidy, sanitized and well-stocked
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as ordering supplies and managing office inventory
