Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • One to three years prior relevant experience
  • Ability to work on various assignments simultaneously
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of computers and software including Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to handle multitasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer service oriented approach

  • Communicate tactfully verbally and in writing with all levels of employees and visitors
  • Working knowledge of computers, internet access, and ability to navigate within automated systems
  • Proficient with software packages such as Outlook, Excel, and Word

Job Duties

  • Answer incoming telephone calls
  • Determine purpose of callers and forward calls to appropriate personnel or department
  • Take and deliver messages or transfer calls to voicemail when needed
  • Answer questions about the organization and provide address, directions, and other information
  • Welcome on-site visitors and announce them to appropriate personnel
  • Monitor visitor access and issue passes when required
  • Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and collating
