Job Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED or higher
  • Minimum 1 year receptionist or customer service experience
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work flexible hours within the 7:30am-5:30pm timeframe
  • Reliable transportation for occasional travel to local practices
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and data security
  • Willingness to provide coverage at multiple locations as needed

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED or higher
  • 1 years of receptionist or customer service experience
  • Intermediate level of computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience as a receptionist in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Experience working with Epic preferred

Job Duties

  • Conduct check-in and check-out process
  • Answer incoming calls and use EHR to document details of patient inquiries
  • Conduct outreach to patients requiring appointments or service follow-up
  • Schedule appointments using standard scheduling protocols
  • Manage administrative in-basket pools and work queues
  • Scan documents into the EHR per standard protocols
  • Balance payments and prepare deposits
  • Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information
  • Provide coverage at other ProHealth locations on an ad hoc basis
  • Perform other duties as assigned
