Job Requirements

  • Bilingual English and Spanish preferred but not required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Prior experience in a medical office setting
  • Experience working front desk at a medical office
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
  • Knowledge of eClinicalWorks software
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent phone etiquette
  • Ability to manage routine administrative tasks under supervision

Job Duties

  • Receive and route incoming and outgoing telephone calls accurately and promptly
  • Greet visitors, determine the nature of their visit, issue visitor passes and maintain visitor logs
  • Schedule appointments and verify patient insurance
  • Collect patient charges and respond to patient inquiries
  • Maintain long distance call logs and distribute accurate messages
  • Book meeting rooms, organize and distribute mail, and manage courier packages
  • Provide excellent customer service and uphold phone etiquette
