Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to travel between Studio City and Simi Valley locations
- previous experience in medical receptionist or similar administrative role preferred
- basic computer proficiency
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- ability to handle confidential patient information with discretion
- availability to work flexible hours as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in dermatology, healthcare, or aesthetics preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- familiarity with insurance carriers such as Medicare, commercial, and HMO plans preferred
- experience with EMR software like EClinicalWorks or EMA advantageous
- excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- compassionate and patient-focused approach
Job Duties
- Warmly welcome patients on arrival
- assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures
- verify patients' insurance coverage and eligibility
- handle incoming phone inquiries and provide accurate information
- manage the appointment schedule efficiently to optimize provider availability
- contact patients on waiting lists or with distant appointments to offer earlier scheduling
- provide product education and sell skin care products to patients and staff
- check and collect patient co-pays and outstanding balances
- maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
