Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or GED
- minimum two years of front office experience preferably in a medical setting
- one to two years of customer service experience
- ability to travel to other sites as necessary
- ability to work full-time
- ability to maintain HIPAA compliance
- ability to type 40 words per minute

Job Duties
- Create a positive and professional first impression of the practice and show a caring attitude to patients
- schedule appointments and assist with scheduling additional testing directed by physicians
- ensure all required patient paperwork is compiled for the day’s appointments
- collect co-pays and past balances at check-in and enter them into the batch for the day in Practice Management
- review for completeness and accuracy and enter required patient demographics and clinical information into Practice Management and EHR
- scan patient’s driver’s license and insurance cards front and back into Ntierprise
- ensure all required referrals are obtained, scanned into the EMR, and linked to the day’s appointment
- reconcile payment batches at the end of every day and turn them in to the Site Manager
- schedule follow-up procedures and coordinate any local ASC cases
- assist patients with the completion of the Phreesia registration system
- travel to other sites within a reasonable geographic region as required
