Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of customer service work experience or interaction with the public
- Proficient computer skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Ability to provide congenial and hospitable customer service
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to adhere to organizational policies and procedures

Job Duties
- Greet incoming patients and visitors providing congenial and hospitable customer service
- Refer patients and visitors to appropriate departments or resources
- Notify appropriate resources of patient and visitor arrivals in a timely manner
- Assure patient demographics and eligibility are correct
- Receive and forward telephone calls and relay messages as per protocol
- Register new patients and schedule appointments for providers and services
- Reschedule appointments and follow up on cancelled and missed appointments
- Collect co-pays and balances and make follow-up appointments as necessary
- Respond to patient and visitor questions using knowledge of organization policies
- Communicate with departments, team members, physician offices, hospital, or patients for information requests, follow-up, or problem resolution
- Perform clerical duties such as ordering supplies, opening mail, and operating office machines
- Assist with medical records and clinical personnel as needed
- Maintain work and waiting areas neat and professional
- Perform special projects as assigned
- Adhere to all standards, policies, and procedures of Endeavor Health
