Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or higher education completed
- One year of customer service work experience or interaction with the public required
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to work Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with rotating weekends
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Commitment to adhering to organizational policies and confidentiality standards

Job Duties
- Greets incoming patients and visitors at various points of service providing congenial and hospitable customer service
- Refers patients and visitors to appropriate departments or resources
- Notifies appropriate resources of patient and visitor arrival in a timely manner
- Assures patient demographics and eligibility are correct
- Receives and forwards telephone calls and takes and relays messages per protocol
- Registers new patients and schedules appointments for providers and services
- Reschedules appointments and follows up on cancelled and missed appointments
- Collects co-pays and balances and makes follow up appointments as necessary
- Responds to patient and visitor questions in a timely and appropriate manner utilizing knowledge of organizational policies and procedures
- May communicate with other departments, team members, physician offices, hospitals, or patients to provide information, follow-up, or resolve problems
- Performs various clerical duties including ordering supplies, opening mail, and operating office machines
- Assists with medical records and clinical personnel as needed
- Maintains neat and professional work and waiting areas
- May perform special projects as assigned
- Adheres to all Endeavor Health standards, policies, and procedures
