Job Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in medical front desk or specialty practice
  • experience using EMR and scheduling software
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • strong organizational skills
  • proficiency in patient interaction and problem-solving
  • Spanish bilingual is preferred
  • ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in a medical front desk or specialty practice
  • experience with Modernizing Medicine (ModMed EMA) preferred
  • strong command of EMR systems and scheduling platforms
  • excellent communication skills with emotional intelligence and professionalism
  • ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced setting
  • detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability
  • service-driven mindset with a focus on patient experience

Job Duties

  • deliver a white-glove patient experience from check-in through departure
  • manage complex scheduling across multiple providers and visit types
  • coordinate patient flow to maintain efficiency and minimize wait times
  • serve as a liaison between patients, providers, and clinical staff
  • handle high-volume calls and time-sensitive patient needs
  • verify insurance, secure authorizations, and ensure financial accuracy
  • maintain precise documentation within Modernizing Medicine (ModMed EMA)
  • uphold a clean, organized, and professional front desk environment
