Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- less than one year of customer service, administrative or related experience required
- experience in a receptionist position or with medical front office procedures preferred
- valid driver’s license and driving record within company motor vehicle safety standards
- ability to key 30 words per minute with accuracy
- ability to use computer including Windows-based software and email
- ability to use office equipment such as fax machines, calculators, postage machines, and copiers
- strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- ability to work with handicapped individuals
- understanding of alpha filing systems
- act with integrity and professionalism in all ways

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Welcome people as they enter the clinic
- communicate anticipated wait times and/or delays
- check-in patients including verification of demographic and insurance information
- complete patient registration for walk-in patients
- collect all patient out of pocket responsibilities such as deductibles, copays, and co-insurance
- schedule next appointments for patients at check out including cast and measure, delivery, follow up, or prosthetic care plan appointments
- answer incoming calls
- act as a concierge of clinic services including assistance in patient experience programs, support groups, and other resources
- assist RCM team in obtaining missing or additional patient information
- maintain accurate and complete electronic healthcare records on patients
