Job Requirements
- Possess a valid driver’s license with no restrictions
- ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings as needed to support business needs
- willingness to travel approximately 40 percent of the time
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- one year relevant work experience preferred
- driver or courier experience in a customer-facing medical environment preferred
- ability to read maps and plan routes
- strong communication skills
- knowledge of safety inspection protocols in a transportation setting
Job Duties
- Responsible for accurate inventory tracking and record keeping
- warehouse inventory cycle counting and optimizing inventory utilization
- arrange merchandise for transport on delivery and return and at customer locations
- read maps and route configuration
- perform safety inspections in transportation setting
- load, unload, or stack containers, materials, or products while checking for sterility, missing or broken implants and instruments
- perform and/or schedule preventative and regular minor maintenance on company delivery vehicle including fuel, fluid levels, tires, and keep accurate maintenance records
- advise supervisor when repairs or extensive maintenance are required for the company vehicle
- field customer complaints, address and communicate as necessary to branch team members
