Job Requirements

  • Possess a valid driver’s license with no restrictions
  • ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings as needed to support business needs
  • willingness to travel approximately 40 percent of the time

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • one year relevant work experience preferred
  • driver or courier experience in a customer-facing medical environment preferred
  • ability to read maps and plan routes
  • strong communication skills
  • knowledge of safety inspection protocols in a transportation setting

Job Duties

  • Responsible for accurate inventory tracking and record keeping
  • warehouse inventory cycle counting and optimizing inventory utilization
  • arrange merchandise for transport on delivery and return and at customer locations
  • read maps and route configuration
  • perform safety inspections in transportation setting
  • load, unload, or stack containers, materials, or products while checking for sterility, missing or broken implants and instruments
  • perform and/or schedule preventative and regular minor maintenance on company delivery vehicle including fuel, fluid levels, tires, and keep accurate maintenance records
  • advise supervisor when repairs or extensive maintenance are required for the company vehicle
  • field customer complaints, address and communicate as necessary to branch team members
