Job Requirements

  • Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA/CMA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Experience with electronic health record systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to handle multi-phone line system
  • Physical ability to perform medium to heavy lifting and physical tasks
  • Ability to read, write and speak English

Job Qualifications

  • Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA/CMA) in good standing preferred
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing preferred
  • Medication Administration certification preferred
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Experience with electronic health record systems
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Skilled in handling multi-phone line systems
  • Excellent customer service and triage skills
  • 3-6 months experience in senior services preferred
  • Ability to read, write and speak English

Job Duties

  • Manage the Medical Clinic schedule and appointment reminders
  • Assist residents in appointment attendance and visits
  • Relay messages and escalate calls to practitioners
  • Ensure insurance and updates are recorded prior to appointments
  • Review insurance payments and follow up on outstanding balances
  • Maintain reports, releases, labs, and medical records
  • Audit charts for accessibility and HIPAA compliance
  • Take vitals and document weight, blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Maintain clinic cleanliness and stock exam rooms
  • Coordinate transportation for off-site appointments
  • Communicate follow-up needs with care teams and escalate as needed
  • Support practitioner with prescription renewals and labs if credentialed
  • Assist with assessments and care plan development
  • Support wellness assessments and wellness programming
  • Perform other duties as assigned
