- High school diploma or equivalent
- active Medical Assistant license in the State of Illinois
- minimum 2 years experience practicing as Medical Assistant with phlebotomy
- bilingual in Spanish and English

Job Duties
- Manage the day-to-day clinical operations and coordinate the outpatient clinical flow
- supervise and provide leadership to all front desk staff
- serve as a trainer and role model for clinical skills
- manage all outpatient mental health program schedules and patient appointments
- monitor and track appropriate business hours
- handle prior authorizations including medications and DCFS
- manage medical records
- transmit prescription refill requests and liaise between pharmacies and providers
- maintain inventory of medical and office supplies
- perform billing and insurance tasks
- triage in-person patients with vital signs, chief complaints, and active medication list
- measure vital signs including blood pressure, heart rate, height, and weight
- perform phlebotomy
- perform EKG tests
- prepare and deliver intramuscular and subcutaneous injections under supervision
- manage outpatient, IOP, and PHP labs and lab reports under supervision
- maintain knowledge of billing and coding
