Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Mediclear Certification or equivalent
  • Experience in a medical assistant or receptionist role preferred
  • Proficient in EHR systems
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Ability to take vital signs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Greet patients, manage check-in/intake, verify insurance, schedule appointments
  • Maintain accurate EHR records and ensure privacy compliance
  • Answer phones, route messages, support day-to-day office flow
  • Take vital signs, assist with basic life-support situations as trained, support clinicians during visits
  • Coordinate across urgent care, internal medicine, geriatrics, and other departments as needed
  • Monitor and restock medical supplies
  • Uphold infection control and safety protocols
