Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant preferably in Primary Care
- graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program
- national or state-specific MA certification or registration where required by law
- CPR/BLS certification required at start date
- phlebotomy experience preferred

- graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or other related program
- national or state-specific MA certification or registration strongly preferred and required where mandated by state law
- CPR/BLS certification required at time of start
- phlebotomy experience preferred
Job Duties
- Escorts patients to room and ensures exam rooms are thoroughly cleaned and stocked
- reviews previous medical information and gathers updated health information from patients
- takes vitals, performs blood draws, administers injections, bandages wounds, and assists with procedures
- prepares and administers approved medications and immunizations as directed by the Provider
- partners with care team members to develop individual patient plans including addressing gaps in care
- performs front desk duties such as patient scheduling, medical record requests, documentation, coordinating specialist visits, referrals, check-in and check-out
- records accurate and pertinent patient data in medical records
- processes test results and communicates them to patients as directed
- participates in patient outreach to drive engagement
- maintains clinical and office supplies and equipment for treatments
