Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 2 years of related experience or equivalent education
- CPR and first aid certification
- phlebotomy skills
- proficiency in EMR and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 2 years of combined education and experience
- CPR and first aid certification required
- CMA or RMA preferred
- experience with EMR systems
- proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook

- bilingual Spanish skills preferred
Job Duties
- Escort patients to exam rooms
- interview patients and measure vital signs including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature
- document all information in patient's electronic health record
- interview patients to obtain medical history
- ensure all related reports, labs, and information are complete in electronic health records prior to appointments
- secure patient information and maintain confidentiality
- prepare exam rooms for patient examinations
- assist physicians and onsite specialists during exams
- assist primary care physicians with virtual appointments
- disinfect and clean exam rooms after use
- maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following policies and legal regulations
- inventory and order medical supplies
- maintain instruments and prepare sterilization
- properly dispose of contaminated supplies
- maintain logs and perform required checks including refrigerator temperatures and emergency medications
- take telephone messages and respond to patient, physician, or pharmacy calls
- make calls to pharmacies and diagnostic facilities as required
- draw blood, remove sutures, change dressings
- perform other assigned duties
