- Current certification or registration as a medical assistant or graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with intent to obtain certification within 18 months
- ability to multi-task

Job Qualifications
- Current certification or registration as a medical assistant or graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with intent to obtain certification within 18 months

- strong critical thinking abilities
- effective communication skills
- experience with electronic medical records preferred
- prior podiatry experience is helpful
Job Duties
- Room patients and prepare them for procedures
- assist providers with medical procedures
- reconcile medication lists accurately
- administer injections as directed
- respond to patient messages according to protocol
- manage clinical duties including ordering supplies and scheduling procedures
- clean and maintain exam rooms
- complete patient paperwork including FMLA and disability forms
