- Certified Medical Assistant
- CPR certification within 6 months of hire
- Basic computer skills required
- Effective communication, organizational and critical thinking skills
- Minimum one year experience in healthcare facility preferred

Job Duties
- Prepare patients for office visits
- Escort patients to treatment rooms
- Obtain and document pertinent patient information
- Process patient telephone calls and correspondence
- Organize and prioritize duties to optimize efficiency
- Assist OR personnel with set-up of operating room procedures
- Perform turnover and terminal cleaning of operating rooms
- Assist with positioning equipment in the OR
- Ensure patient safety through proper identification process
- Model hospital policies
- Scribe information regularly
