Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- CPR/BLS certification required
- One year of experience working within a clinical environment
- One year of experience in an administrative, patient-facing, or customer service role
- Ability to work on some days independently supporting administrative functions and intake medical deliveries
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills for recordkeeping
- Ability to comply with company policies and CDC infection control guidelines
- Ability to handle patient interactions professionally and maintain confidentiality
- Must be able to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and manual dexterity
- Available to work Monday, Wednesday through Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Ability to follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Medical Assistant Certification preferred
- CPR/BLS certification required
- One year of experience working within a clinical environment
- One year of experience in an administrative, patient-facing, or customer service role
- Phlebotomy and lab processing skills preferred
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate professionally and effectively with staff, patients, and physicians
- Computer skills for electronic recordkeeping
- Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Job Duties
- Perform a variety of patient care activities rendering quality patient care in accordance with standards of practice
- Room clinic patients in person or virtually and update patient chart with required information
- Communicate pertinent patient data to providers and nurses to ensure quality and continuity of patient care
- Provide administrative and front-end support such as greeting patients, assisting with scheduling, managing phone calls, and processing payments
- Oversee and ensure efficient turnover of exam rooms
- Assist provider in the exam room as requested
- Collect, prepare, and submit ordered patient lab specimens as directed
- Assist Patient Services team as needed to obtain prior authorizations for prescribed treatments and documents
- Triage patient phone calls and messages and document appropriately
- Order and manage supplies under the direction of manager
- Disinfect and stock exam rooms
- Assist in obtaining records required for patient charts
- Demonstrate effective communication skills, reporting patient issues throughout the treatment day
- Follow company policies and CDC guidelines for infection control
