Job Requirements
- Current CMA, RMA, or CCMA or graduate of an accredited program
- must obtain certification or registration as a Medical Assistant within 18 months of hire
- ability to triage messages
- ability to multi-task and work in a team environment
- work independently in a fast-paced environment
- strong critical thinking abilities
Job Qualifications
- Current certification or registration as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) or graduate of an accredited program with commitment to obtain certification within 18 months of hire
- strong multi-tasking and critical thinking abilities
- ability to work independently and in a team environment
- experience with electronic medical records
- excellent communication skills
Job Duties
- Room patients
- assist providers with procedures
- reconcile medication lists
- administer injections
- assist with clinical duties
- order supplies
- schedule procedures and appointments
- complete medication refills per protocol
- clean exam rooms
- float to various departments to support patient care needs at the direction of the Director of Clinic Nursing
