Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and/or experience
  • At least three years of relevant professional experience
  • Ability to manage and maintain audio visual systems and media technology
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to supervise and guide student staff
  • No driver’s license required

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience
  • Three or more years of professional experience working with audio, visual, and recording equipment
  • Demonstrated success working with diverse populations
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with staff, faculty, students, campus organizations and community
  • Experience with Avid Pro Tools, Logic Pro, MIDI programming, and Qlab cue automation
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, Illustrator and Lightroom
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Office Suite
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design preferred
  • Skills in 2D graphics, 3D modeling, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Creative Studio, Affinity Photo, Articulate 360, Blackmagic Fusion, eLearning Authoring, image editing, layout designs, learning management systems (LMS), non-linear editing, podcasting, screen capture, typography, video editing, visual effects (VFX), webcasting

Job Duties

  • Manages all integrated audio visual and media systems throughout the Division of Student Affairs
  • Provides management of the technical audio-visual, multimedia, and video support services for campus events and trainings
  • Oversees daily operations of the Harvey Media Center including equipment management for KWUR radio, WUTV, Studio 350, Video Studio, and the Media Lab
  • Manages scheduling, access, and rentals of media equipment and reservable spaces in the HMC
  • Identifies, purchases, and deploys new media technology, hardware, audio-visual equipment and innovations
  • Supervises student event staff providing media technology support
  • Performs other duties as assigned
