Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and/or experience
- At least three years of relevant professional experience
- Ability to manage and maintain audio visual systems and media technology
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to supervise and guide student staff
- No driver’s license required
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience
- Three or more years of professional experience working with audio, visual, and recording equipment
- Demonstrated success working with diverse populations
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with staff, faculty, students, campus organizations and community
- Experience with Avid Pro Tools, Logic Pro, MIDI programming, and Qlab cue automation
- Experience with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, Illustrator and Lightroom
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Office Suite
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design preferred
- Skills in 2D graphics, 3D modeling, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Creative Studio, Affinity Photo, Articulate 360, Blackmagic Fusion, eLearning Authoring, image editing, layout designs, learning management systems (LMS), non-linear editing, podcasting, screen capture, typography, video editing, visual effects (VFX), webcasting
Job Duties
- Manages all integrated audio visual and media systems throughout the Division of Student Affairs
- Provides management of the technical audio-visual, multimedia, and video support services for campus events and trainings
- Oversees daily operations of the Harvey Media Center including equipment management for KWUR radio, WUTV, Studio 350, Video Studio, and the Media Lab
- Manages scheduling, access, and rentals of media equipment and reservable spaces in the HMC
- Identifies, purchases, and deploys new media technology, hardware, audio-visual equipment and innovations
- Supervises student event staff providing media technology support
- Performs other duties as assigned
