Job Requirements
- Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the health system
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms preferred
- Must be able to provide proof of work authorization
- Compliance with background check and employment misconduct policies
- Vaccination requirements
- Adherence to smoking, tobacco, and drug-free policies
- May require pre-placement health evaluation
- Legal right to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Good customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve meals according to set guidelines and schedules
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation and serving areas
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff
- Assist in inventory management and supply replenishment
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate food service activities
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures related to food service operations
