Job Requirements

  • Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
  • Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the health system
  • Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms preferred
  • Must be able to provide proof of work authorization
  • Compliance with background check and employment misconduct policies
  • Vaccination requirements
  • Adherence to smoking, tobacco, and drug-free policies
  • May require pre-placement health evaluation
  • Legal right to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in food service or hospitality preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Good customer service skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve meals according to set guidelines and schedules
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation and serving areas
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff
  • Assist in inventory management and supply replenishment
  • Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate food service activities
  • Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures related to food service operations
