Job Requirements

- able to operate cutting and packaging equipment safely

- able to work in a temperature-controlled environment
- possess good vision
- able to use pallet jack and move heavy items

Job Duties
- provide a high level of customer service
- practice safe food handling procedures
- receive, store, and grind meats
- unload and transport fresh, cured, and boxed meats and poultry from delivery truck
- count and weigh incoming articles and compare results against invoice
- examine and rotate meats in storage to avoid aging
- assist customers with questions and special orders while maintaining a positive work environment
