Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent
- basic knowledge of math, weights and measures
- dependable and reliable
- outgoing and friendly behavior
- positive attitude
- ability to interact with customers
- flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- good communication skills
- ability to take direction
- ability to stand for up to 4 hours continuously and up to 8 hours per shift
- ability to walk up to 2 miles per shift
- able to work in a temperature-controlled environment
- perform general housekeeping and sanitation
- ability to use pallet jack and move heavy items
- capable of lifting 25 to 90 lbs
- good vision for handling sharp equipment

Job Duties
- Provide a high level of customer service
- practice safe food handling procedures
- receive, store, and grind meats
- unload and transport fresh, cured, and boxed meats and poultry from delivery trucks
- count and weigh incoming articles and compare results against invoices
- examine meats in storage and rotate to avoid aging
- assist customers with questions and special orders
