Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent
- possess basic knowledge of math, weights and measures
- be dependable and reliable
- have outgoing and friendly behavior
- be able to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- have good communication skills
- be capable of standing up to 4 hours continuously and 8 hours per shift
- be able to walk up to 2 miles per shift
- work inside temperature controlled area
- perform housekeeping and sanitation of work area
- possess good vision for using sharp knives and machinery
- be able to lift/carry products between 25 to 90 lbs
- operate pallet jack for moving pallets up to 500 lbs
- move racks of products weighing up to 70 lbs
- move tables weighing up to 70 lbs
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age

- possess basic knowledge of math, weights, and measures
- be dependable and reliable

- exhibit a positive attitude and ability to interact with customers

- adhere to safety, health, weights and measures regulations, and company recipes
Job Duties
- Provide high level of customer service
- practice safe food handling procedures
- possess product knowledge and preparation techniques
- receive, store, and grind meats
- unload and transport fresh, cured, and boxed meats and poultry from delivery trucks
- count and weigh incoming articles and compare results against invoices
- examine and rotate meats in storage to avoid aging
- assist customers with questions and special orders
- maintain a clean and sanitary work environment by following "Clean as You Go" and "Fresh at 4" programs
